DC 4352 and DC 4323 haul train 138 northbound up the Whangarata Bank, heading to Mission Bush. Filmed on 3rd December 2010.The consist is Front - Lime chip, middle - lime powder, rear - empties from Mt Maunganui.

Nice one. I'm quite sure the wagons on the back are going for loading. That's all lime on the front isn't it?

@CNIrailfanNZ Thanks! Yeah the hoppers on the front are either lime chip or powder, can't remember which one.

KiwiRail seems to be carrying fairly healthy tonnages jusging by this (and other) videos of their freight trains. Is this an accurate impression?

@Korschtal - Thanks. Yes most trains around here definitely seem to carry high tonnages. I may be wrong, but I'm guessing this train would probably have been close to the weight limit for these two locos.
good stuffs, watch for the DL's they doing regular runs up to westfield and mission bush now i hear.
