The female-fronted Grunge pioneering Fastbacks played Swallow My Pride (not to be confused with the Green River song of the same name) for the Sub Pop 200 compilation album. The album features songs by every band that had been signed to Sub Pop at that time and some the songs are available on this album only.

@niklasdefiego lol, Sub Pop was basicly broke as fuck ahaha, Nirvana had to pay the making of the album themselves, they borrowed 600 dollars from Jason Everman(a guitarist in the band at the time, with the curly hair on the cover) and they recorded Bleach for 606 dollars and 17 cents.

BTW, Jason Everman didn`t play a note on Bleach.

sub pop? did they released it befor or after they gave cobain the legendery 600 bucks for the bleach recordings. Whatever. it sounds pretty cool. but i´ve never heared something better from sub pop than bleach.
