Trip to Munising in Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Grand Island which is in Munising is only reached by boat and is a popular place to visit for off road bike enthusiasts from around the country. The scenery is beautiful and you really feel free traveling out there. Would recommend to anyone

I went camping and mountain bike riding on Grand Island a few years ago in September. It rained and almost snowed. It was very cold. Everyone fled the island for Munising. We were the only ones on the island except for the rangers who tried to kick us off.

We did this ride with our little guy on a tag-a-long bike. We expected to only go part of the way, but it was so beautiful and fun, we went all the way around. A great ride!
