By covering this song and even putting it on a later album, Metallica is saluting Budgie and opening up music to younger followers that otherwise would have never found great artist like Budgie. Personally, I now own a lot of Budgie music BECAUSE of Metallica. It isn't who does it better, it is Metallica honoring those that inspired them, and saluting them to an audience whose numbers Budgie could never dream of reaching. It's a great circle of music.
