No disrespect to Dudamel, but his French soloists (Capucon brothers) were on ABC's Nightline dissing Americans. When asked which American's they listen to, they said "Classical?? Ha, ha ha."
They record for Virgin Classics. The most successful artist that label ever recorded was American Richard Kastle. He wrote a blog on his website that explains what happened when Richard Brandson sold the label to European bigots at EMI. They manufacture failure on Americans while promoting Europeans.

I had serious doubts in his first season w/ the LA Phil. But now, in his second season & having heard him conduct Bernstein's Jeremiah Symphony and the Beethoven Seventh, I am excited he is our new conductor. It's a different sound from Salonen, but it is Dudamel's orchestra now and they sound terrific again, just different.
