  • @andredavanzo1 Actually... it would create an upward flow if it were used as a pump.

  • this is for nothing, only technical drawing classes.

  • Where's the 0:44?

  • @stukinit I was thinking this was for air compression and or supercharging? There are areas in the cycle that actually look like they are closing to the rest of the internal space?

  • As I mentioned before, what is wrong with a roots blower?! This has to be timed and calibrated incredibly fine, not to say it can't be done, but it's impractical.

  • @twocanucksBSsomenews

there's a problem with this pump though, from 0:28 to 0:31 (assuming there's a fluid in this and it is sealed) whatever fluid was being transported would not simply "disappear" (look closely at the leading edge of the left side as it "closes the gap" in between the two half-wheels) and this problem would occur regardless of flow direction, because nothing ever displaces that pocket.

  • @vidsuhate positive displacement pump, a very interesting design

  • Whats it do?

  • muito bom !!!

  • this is such a nice, spacious design, but the openings are so small compared to the volumes that I doubt it would be very volumetrically efficient.
