I don't disagree with the statement that the way dolphins and Lolita live at the MSQ is wrong. But I do disagree with Ric O'Barry. First of all, the tile 'flipper trainer' is wrong. Ric did NOT train Flipper. He was an underwater camera specialist, and only 'babysitted' the dolphin between the takes. Secondly, he sais that 'back in the flipper days, we didn't have the information we have today'. Do you really need so much research to see such a dolphin capture is wrong?

I cry every time I see this video. It's so heartbreaking, that intelligent creatures like this are being held captive for our entertainment.
