One of my favorite scenes from the Judy Garland Show..... just love the musical ''blues'' style arrangement and how Judy swings with it.... really adore those stunning camera close-ups of Judy , too !!

one hell of a singer and a great actresses too. she looks in good health here.

Judy tried to stay "sober" during the early weeks of her variety series. Unfortunately, the ratings were terrible (opposite NBC's "BONANZA", THE #1 show on Sunday nights), and CBS president James T. {"The Smiling Cobra"} Aubrey was indifferent to her and her personal and production problems [eventually, he admitted he was sorry he ever gave her a weekly series]- and then she began to "fall apart"....

Wow ! Well sung ! :D

This is also my favorite period in Judy's incredible career. She was thin, obviously healthy, seemingly happy, and most certainly at her peek vocally.

I am amazed that anyone could watch this performance and perceive anything other than an artist at the top of her form....I am all too aware that this incredible woman struggled with addiction(s) but nothing in this stellar rendition would indicate that to me....I guess I should be glad I'm not an addictions counselor. But...sober or medicated, she epitomizes great singing and performing, and she was a one-of-kind gift to the world....never before, and never again.

@truthintime There is a support group for those who speak in phrases from Judy songs! LOL

@truthintime Gal? Who says gal? Cowboys and 80 year olds!

@markbob120 I love your humor. You sound like a very cool, hopefully sober, guy. I think I'll put on an Amy Winehouse CD, chill, and enjoy this beautiful Sunday afternoon. Hey, Amy Winehouse? Now I'm scared. I notice a pattern here!
This is why Judy is my "all-time" favorite!
