@niccopapavescovo i actually like this version better for the exact same reason. the hawkwind version, and hawkwind in general, will always be more on the fantastical side of things.... eating acid, dropping out, etc, etc,..... this version drops it into raw reality and really gives it meaning. this shit is real. blunt and to the point. this is where the message of the song truly materializes.

Lyrics are wrong. I'm not sure about the rest but this bit: And shall I find their underwear, From a store where no-one goes, She makes it big in dugs, On the strength of what she shows, Should be: And Sally buys her underwear From a store where no-one goes She makes it big in photographs On the strength of what she shows. I prefer the Hawkwind (original) version myself as much as I love Motorhead.

@alexsuchapimp It's still technically a cover due to different musicians playing it but I get what you're saying, quite frankly who cares either way its a great fucking song.
-
@HeavyAcid666 it's not a cover. Both the Hawkwind version and the Motorhead version have the Lemmy singing, and he wrote the song. So yeah

God dam i love the outro
its a good cover, but the Hawkwind version is a bit better cause the spacey feel
