Sonic Generations- Time Eater- Final Boss in 3:21:64 & Can't Touch This Trophy/Achievement

READ DESCRIPTION FOR TROPHY/ACHIEVEMENT DETAILS

For those of you having trouble getting the Can't Touch This Trophy/Achievement which requires you to NOT get hit by the Time Eater or any of the debris. This can be a pain at times but if you rhythmically boost every one or two seconds, the Sonic will travel faster so you can catch up to him a lot quicker. Also switch to 2D when he does that laser attack because in 3D it's unavoidable. This may take a couple tries but it's rather easy once you get the hang of the controls. I already got it so that's why it didn't show up but I do have itI

I've just gotten the trophy and you can indeed get hit by debris. I don't know about the PC and X360 versions, though. While trying to get my third hit on Time eater, then proceeded anyway and got the trophy regardless.

Can you get hit by the landforms and still get the achievement?

@forestlegend2 No because apparently it's coded as an attack by the Time Eater, hence why I wrote in the description "avoid the debris".

@Blitzthesquirrle OH! I forgot to mention, when coming up to debris use the X or A buttons by holding them down to charge them up and launch the other Sonic to destroy the debris in your way. And I was wrong, when you are close enough to where you see the crosshair, don't use the A/X buttons, just keep boosting. Sorry for the confusion.

@Blitzthesquirrle Boost. Just boost and dodge. And when you see the crosshairs on his center core, hit the A/X Button and you'll get him. Boosting through a group of rings will magnetically attract them to you. So just do that and you should be fine.
