The Rider doesn't need much. A little food, a sleeping bag, his Ride snowboard, and, of course, snow. A short film about a day in the life of a snowboard bum, shot entirely with the PENTAX K-7 and assorted PENTAX lenses.

  • How did you do the time lapse? Was this with the k-7 or k-x?

  • All time lapse segments in THE RIDER were shot straight up video mode by All Terrain Video on the K-7. ATV used the 55mm DA* for the lodge time lapse and the 15mm DA for the chair lift time lapse. ATV increased the clip's speed to 700 and 4000 percent respectively during post production using Final Cut Pro.

  • @pentaxian1 What lens did you use at 1:23?

  • @TazakaLOL The DA* 300mm F4

  • Was this filmed at Winter Park?

  • Loveland, CO
