Ghost sounds from a Ghost Town

My kids and I were at Gold Hill Nevada, staying at a haunted hotel, when we heard these machine like sounds coming from the hills behind th old abandoned Yellow Jacket Mine ruins. One of the reported phenomenons is the sounds of the old mine, that hasn't been in operation in more than seventy years.

I have stayed at the Gold Hill hotel in 2000. I heard a loud stomping noise up and down the hall way. In the original 1860's structure. It happened around 1:00am.
