This BikeBandit.com How To Video overviews Dirt Bike Exhaust Installation with Steve Matthes and was produced by Transworld Motocross.

Stock dirt bikes come pretty plugged up these days. One of the best ways to get more performance out of both 2 stroke and 4 stroke dirt bikes is to install a new exhaust. There are a ton of options to choose from depending on your budget and performance mindset. A number of varieties of dirt bike exhaust can be found on the BikeBandit.com website at http://www.bikebandit.com/motorcycle-exhaust/g/a643652

When a more free flowing exhaust is installed on a dirt bike, it needs to be compensated with additional fuel and air for a uniform circuit. A uniform circuit allows for the dirt bike to operate at its peak performance. A jet kit will deliver more fuel to the dirt bike and a high flowing air filter will deliver more air. If the dirt bike is fuel injected, you'll need to install a fuel injection module instead of a jet kit. Jet kits for dirt bikes can be found on our website at http://www.bikebandit.com/jet-kits/cm/a676379, fuel injection modules can be found at http://www.bikebandit.com/fuel-injection/cm/a676375 and high flow aftermarket air filters can be found at http://www.bikebandit.com/air-filters/cm/a642495

  • @NOREMAC770 use heat and lube it up! Run the bike for a while after you lube the bolt. The exhaust heat alone should be enough. Let it cool and try again. Worst case you have to use an oxy tourch to get the bolt out as when heated the bolt will expand and then cool down hopefully breaking any rust sealed in place. I had to do this with some seized linkage bearings.
