A celebrated judge whose story was told in the 2008 documentary "The Judge and the General," came to campus this fall as part of Penn Law School's Bok Visiting International Professor Program.

Juan Guzmán Tapia gained international prominence as the judge who worked for years to prosecute Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet. For three weeks in October, Guzmán taught upper level Penn Law students and participated in activities and events at the School. While here, he shared his recollections about the Pinochet case.
