Its pretty much a certainty that Bryan will be leaving town. I don't care about his salary or performances, this guy is still a stellar defensemen and created some great memories in the Blue and White. It will be sad to see him move on, but ultimately the Team comes first. This is a tribute to Bryan McCabe's time as a Toronto Maple Leaf!

As for Mats Sundin, the Leafs need to move forward without him as well. Sick of seeing his ugly mug on tv all the time and all the signing rumours. Who cares? He's never led the team anywhere, especially during those playoff years where he was always injured. He never performed beyond our expectations when it mattered the most.

I was very happy to have Bryan McCabe as a Toronto Maple Leaf player. Most fans don't understand that McCabe was a decent defenseman playing on a very bad hockey team. He had great offensive skills, and could do the job defensively, more than Kaberle. The Leafs will be a worse team now that he's gone. But it's all for the better. Leafs have to rebuild without Bryan. He's better off somewhere else. Good luck Bryan.

But very true yes McCabe had his ups and his downs he still was one heck of a player! He had his moments and he reped the blue and white well! I give him! the best of luck in where ever his future takes him. He will have his time to shine!
