  • I think when we set off it was roughly 55kg each but we put as much as we could in sleds and where we couldn't do that we did double carries

  • Wow really nice. I plan on doing it next season. What kind of camera did you use and how do you keep the batteries charged over there?

  • Hi, I used a Lumix LX3 which is a still camera with HD video as well. Very happy with it and still shots were great too. Just wanted to take one camera that did both, only draw back is zoom is limited and zoom doesn't seem to work whilst in the middle of video recording.

Good luck with your prep. I found it tough the last few days but definately worth it and its one of the best trips I've done.

  • Truly amazing video. A long term goal of mine is climbing Denali. Gonna take a TON of work, but in the end, its always completely worth it. Congratulations for your time on the top of North America!

  • Thanks and good luck with your preparation. I definately recommend training dragging the tyre, although I did get a few strange looks from people!

  • I was diagnosed with asthma about a year ago but Im going to continue and train for this climb. And hopef for the docs aproval at the end! Great vid and congratulations!

  • Very inspiring. I just got back from Africa, my buddy and I climbed Kilimanjaro, obviously a totally different class of climbing but it sparked my interest in seeking other challenges. I know being at the Uhuru Peak was very emotional for me, it must have been a huge sensation to be on the highest peak in North America.

  • View from the top is epic! How heavy were your packs?

  • Nice vid!! can you send me a list of the gear that you used for the climb. traveljunkie78@yahoo.com

  • Nice climb.

  • Congratulations Marc that's quite a feat. Just flying in that little plane would have been enough excitement for me. Julie Ellis
