I'm so glad Kay Hagan delivered ruby slippers to Dole so she could click them together 3 times and go back to Kansas where she's hopefully playing traffic right now...I had so much respect for her until that awful Godless American ad.

You'd be surprised. I'm a proud North Carolinian, and many older "hicks", as you call them, are hard-working individuals who vote based on the candidate, not party. I think the 2008 results reflect that.

In future, many will make contributions to Dole's campaign (if she dares to run for office again), and then reveal themselves as atheists.
