This 1977 TV appearance featured Robert MacDonald on Accordian. He replaced Blair Douglas in 1974 and was subsequently replaced by Blair after he left in 1978. Robert passed away in 1986 after a battle against Cancer.

  • This is brilliant! I was a wee boy at primary school in 1977, but Robert was my history teacher at Portree High in 1980. He died the year I left school - very sad. Was this on the 'Cur Car' show? I remember my Mum saying that Donnie's Gaelic wasn't very good!!

  • seriously! awesome though. It took me a couple seconds to figure out who was who with Rory on guitar and Donnie on bass. It's funny to see them playing on Epiphone's too. They can afford way better than that now.
