Crysis 2 PC Demo without Blur, FoV=90 degrees

Played on an ATI Radeon 4850, hardcore settings, 720p resolution.
Recorded with FRAPS, set to record half size video. Max for this video is 360p, but the point is to notice the complete lack of motion blur and wider field of view. These alone make the game exceedingly more playable.

Add these to the target: +cl_fov=90 +r_DrawNearFoV = 90 +pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov = 90 +r_MotionBlur=0 +g_skipIntro=1

Skipping the intro is a given.

It's like that for everyone. the server setup is atrocious. Hell, there better server browsers on Halo:CE way back in the day. it's bullcrap.

Those are for the Steam launcher.

They're ever so slightly different for the non-steam release.

You can find the specifics of LOADS of launch parameters on the Steam forums.

I don't know where you got that info but I have them working fine on my non-steam box copy. All of those parameters are the same. They are CVARs for the 3D engine, not Steam specific settings. They apply to all versions of the game. If they don't work for you, you did it wrong. The launch parameters line in Steam is not for Steam specific settings. Any type of CVAR will work as long as the game supports it, whether it's a box copy or a Steam copy.
