  • @juriesnake Your account on Cisco [dot] com or your account on Cisco Net Academy ?

  • Great videos. I am due to start my CCNA later this year. Can you perhaps recommend the best simulator to use for practice? I have packet tracer 5.3. Is that a good one?

  • @MrDampkring Packet Tracer is the best you can use for CCNA.

  • its called packet tracer 4.0 u get it when you sign up for cisco classes

  • He is using CISCO PACKETTracer application from CISCO learning. I think it is 4.11 version which is already outdated. Version 5.0 is already available.

BTW, greetings to viperboy. Good tutorials.

  • Thank you for your great video first of all..

Question, I'm about to purchase a cisco 861W.

I'm new to this interface/way to set up a router.. how do I set up the router to what the ISP is telling me? (they are giving me an external IP, DNS's, and a subnet mask.. )

I also want this router to be the DHCP. That is the basics for now, l need to get it working for the users at my job.. Thank you for your help!

  • great videos.... keep the good job!

  • @MrNugz2008 Dude, if you don't like them, then don't watch them. These are supposed to be very basic Intros.

  • What does the AL Amber LED mean? I have a router that has both the AL Amber light, and Green light on...but will not connect to the T1.

  • Thank you! This is my first time taking a CCNA class and I feel so lost. This video helped me understand what to do and why I'm doing it, for what results. I'm going on to video 2 now.
