NS used to bring a Norfolk & Western caboose to my hometown on a local so they could back down a branch that had a crossing. I love those 4-axle dash 8's btw. nice vid!

@benschlechter On Display or in Use. Theres about 5 on display for Southern in the state of VA. In VA theres also about 7 N&W Cabooses on display for the public. Not including the ones in Museums

@trainmasta227 Down in Bulls Gap,TN, there's an ex-NW caboose that was repainted as a Southern Railway caboose.

Cabooses are common in Virginia. One definatley i can say uses a caboose all the time is Z854. In the first clip. You see that rusty steam engine in the first clip. Its one of 3 Former NW rescued from an old siding outside of Harrisonburg VA
