Residential road work at 7:00 a.m.

The City of Toronto kindly provided me with a 7:00 a.m. wake-up call. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for one. I did send this video to my city councillor, however.

Sorry they didn't call you and ask when it would be a good time. Maintenance must be completed to ensure the health of the roads. You live in Canada, the crews don't have a lot of time to fix the roads.  They can't wait until 10 AM to get started. I don't think that some people will ever realize what goes on outside of THEIR lives. Please don't bother others with your complaining. When this happens get up and do something constructive, and thank them for the early start on the day..

u think thats bad we start at 4 in the morning and when it comes to major roads we work all night making noise it needs to be done!!!!!!!!!! here in pa we make our money during the summer

lady i work for a town public works department . Were not gonna wait til 10 or 11 to start working when we only work til 2 . My town , and many other cities/ states have a lot of work to do on their roads , and we will get that work done that day even if it means starting before , or after 7 am. Get use to it!

Sorry lady. You have to realize that the sun is up at 5:30 AM during the summer and crews usually get an early start to beat the heat and humidity. You should rejoice in the fact that there are people working and keeping the economy running albeit all being done with tax dollars. Not everyone gets the luxery of a 9 to 5 job. I'd be careful complaining to Council in a socialized leaning country as Canada; Council may decide you're more suited to construction work instead of the thrift store.

funny how people complain about the roads...but when it comes time to fix them it aint a good time for the people complaing..maybe you need a job lady...
