and about holy books.i KNOW theyve been changed and by people who have known someone who knew someone who...but the god projected in the bible is all i really need to be sure IMO.i consider something i dont understand is possible not until proven, but not possible until disproven.otherwise you would be a nihilist.i know a bit paradoxical except if you think your right from a"good feeling".do what you want because no matter whos right what will happen WILL happen anyways, but i still have a opinion
im sure we can still evolve.hell, whether it becomes instinct or civilization social evolution,if racism and theocrism and yea sexism stopped we would solve other stuff and reach new levels of good health that the brain is able to derive better logic.whether we engineer ourselves,as long as we handle race relations, disease as stuff will disappear.one advantage of being 6bill strong is you get a alot of variation thatll cycle over many years keeping up diversity and why a one state world cant work
Well maybe humans become a dead end in evolution when we reach the point that artificial intelligence does everything better then humans. Or we slowly turn into immortal cyborgs. But i guess its just a question of how far technology can be pushed.
I think the new (but unproven) 'theorys of everything' do allow a universe without intelligent intervention because they suggest that everything that can happen actually does happen. My gues is that they are closer to reality then religion is.
yes, and that is what i mean, by no means is our circumstances PERFECT, or war because of human behavior flaws or competition for resources wouldnt exist. and we may have turned out "human" by chance, but i see god in not the individual circumstances which intelligence evolved, but that all the most elementary concepts of this universe are so complex yet made this circumstance even possible to occur in the first place. no doubt theres still competition, but its financial and not mortal.
Well according to science the universe operates on chance and scientists even predict that a universe this big could have millions of earth like planets. So in that scenario we are again the product of the universe instead of the universe beeing created as a 'livingspace' for humans.
Evolution also works like this. An animal might think that his tropical island is perfectly designed, but in reality hes the result of an evolutionary arms race that lasted millions of years.
and we turned out from another tree that luckily allowed us to use tools, adaptable in climates, much better livers than most animals, and of course brains,i think the small differences in behavior would be negligent to the similarities.evolution has a nice converging traits phenomena, and it seems with many other animals intelligence is the key to adapt in many ways to us.what you call the soul is hardly what me or you can probably understand what its theoretical role or relevance to an individual
the way i see it is you understand the nature of the deity, good, and put trust in nothing else but that deity. no matter how the stories sway, at least you know who youre praying to. and im not gonna state what if any miracles i believe occurred, but i see god in things because such simple structures as strings are so perfectly made and where we are in space and time made for such favorable circumstances. i think whether we turned out human, or a previous mass extinction didnt happen...
If u admit that u cant take holy books literally then u allso have to admit that reality isnt anything like its described in holy books. Even do people thought it was just like that for 1000's of years.
So unless u exactly know what did and did not happen (in ur particular book) then whats left is that any theory could be just as sound as a 'skygod' theory.
I personally dont see god in anything. All i see is that evolution and the universe show how complex things evolve out of simple things.
