Fate? ♥ Ep. 2 [I guess I hate the truth. . . . .]

Basically, I'm basing this story on my life currently...

[Bella's POV]

There they were. Standing there. Together. Renting movies. Talking. Laughing. Practically on a date. I sat on the bench crying until I couldn't cry anymore. Why couldn't I just face the fact that we weren't going to be together. I guess I hate the truth. . . . .

I guess my best friends haven't noticed I'm gone. I guess I'll just walk home alone then.

[Ariana's POV]

"Val," I turned around to her, "Where's Bells?" We all stopped looking at the movies and looked around BlockBuster. That's when I spotted them. There, just standing there.

I groaned. "Duck!" I whispered to Mia and Valerie. They did so, "Look over where The Notebook DVD's are." I pointed quickly. They got up a bit so they could see. They immediately sat back down once they saw who I was talking about. Mia whipped out her phone. She started texting, Isabella, I presume.

"Okay, she said she's fine and that she's at home, and to get all the movies we want." I looked from Valerie, to Mia, and back to the DVD rack. "Let's do this." We all stood up on out feet once again. That's when the two spotted us, "Hey," said Chris with surprise in his voice, "What're you guys doing here?" He asked.

"Oh, just renting movies to take back to Bella's house." He looked at the movie in my hand, "The Notebook? What's wrong? Is she okay?" He asked stepping a little closer to the three of us. We backed away, "Yeah, she's fine." Valerie lied controlling the tone of her voice.

He didn't believe us, but he didn't persue the subject. We got the popcorn and the rest of our movies and left without another word to that no good scum bag.

We rushed home only to find Bella stretched across the couch sobbing, obviously toning down the break down, from the tear stains on her shirt. "Oh, sweetie!" I squealed when I walked in. I ran over and hugged her as tight as I could. "It'll be okay," Valerie said as she was rubbing her arm trying to comfort her.

Mia came into the room with a bowl of popcorn, "I swear, when I see that boy, he's going to get it." Bella sat up and laughed while stuffing a handful of popcorn into her mouth. "Got enough there, Bells?" Val asked while giggling a little. Bella smiled - or at I think she did, I couldn't tell with all the popcorn - and nodded. As Mia put the movie into the DVD player, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" Bella said hopping to her feet and putting her slippers on. She opened the door and we all peeked a little to see who was here. "Hey, Bells." I gasped, Val's mouth hung open, and Mia almost screamed. "Chris?," Bella said in surprise, "What're you doing here?" He stepped into the house a bit, and our oh-so nice Bella moved aside to let him in, "I saw the movie they rented, I knew something was wrong." He glared at Valerie knowing that she was lying from the tear streaks not fully faded from Bella's face.

The horn from his car was honked twice, Bella rolled her eyes, "I guess that's your que to leave." She went to the door, but Chris stopped her, "I'm not leaving until I know what's wrong. Eva can wait."

Did he just say what I think I said? I looked from Bella to Mia to Val to Chris. He didn't say that. . . .

"W-what?" Bella managed to ask. Chris rolled his eyes. "Bella," He sighed, "just tell me what's wrong." She looked at him, sighed, and walked up the stairs without one word to any of us. "I'll go-" Chris started.

"No," I scowled at him, "We'll go." I grabbed Mia and Val and raced up the stairs.

[Chris' POV]

I sighed as I stared after them and then the place where Bella was standing. I never know what's wrong with her anymore. My car horn honked twice again. Ugh. I swear, that girl is sooo demanding!

As I walked down the porch steps, I looked back at the house, my eyes traveled to Bella's bedroom window.

If only she knew. . . . . .
