  • To the SKCProductions, this kit new (before manufacturers put their prices up 15-25%) was £895 with snare, toms, bass, hi-hat stand and Bass Drum. So no, they arent $3000 at all. DW isnt just for the big boys either, its for the musician who wants perfection from their instrument. Fair play to will for buying his son one at the age of 2. I hope hes awesome when hes older!

  • hi! you wrong! all shells are collectors series US drum!

not a cheap mini pro drum kit made in mexico ;)

  • Do you have any tips on how to tune a 18" bassdrum?

  • not realy!

    I just listen!

  • I like the kit. It's cool. Way to go Will.

  • @sithwriter Wow, way to hate. Good job making yourself feel better. But did you ever think it's possible that he did that in order to get the ride lower than the stand would otherwise permit, considering that everything else is mounted low as well? Or did it occur to you that there are a number of different locking nut solutions he might have under there that would not just unwind and fall off? Probably not, sounds like you were to busy being a jealous prick.

  • @sithwriter i think it's more likely that he's got his SONS ride setup like that, because he is 2, and that bassdrum is 18" diameter.so to set it up normally would probably be to high for a 2 year old to ride on....

  • 'his son's dw' screw you will karling for being so wealthy :(

  • this kit is better than my "big" drum kit

  • @xdrummerx22 My highschool jazz band uses Birch Stage Customs. They're nice drums. We have the smaller sizes (I think like a 8 inch tom). They're fast drums if you put like a pinstripe on them, but at the same time they can be really fuzzy if you put on a coated ambassador. They cut through the ensemble quite well, even though they are puny in size. What size you get totally depends on what your doing with those drums. I don't know about the bigger ones, but the smaller ones are slick. Get em'.

  • @manyPixels It's upside down on a cymbal stand, and as he plays that cymbal, that screw holding it in place will slowly unwind. After a while, it'll come right off and the cymbal will fall. People do this kinda crap for looks anyway. Does he REALLY need to suspend the cymbal like that? Will it make him "sound better". No, its just improper use of equipment.

  • I just found my sons first kit, but hes on mine more than I am and hes 2, maybe I found my new kit

  • @sithwriter How would it fall off?

  • So the way you've suspended your ride is purely for looks right? I'll laugh when it falls off.
