None of us are born worthy? It's what I've heard from my christian parents all my life. I see where you're coming from though. Believing that we are inherently unworthy keeps us dependent on something to fix ourselves, like a dogma or religion or any other tool for transformation. We will never find confidence in our personality, because it is finite, it will die. The consciousness, the Holy Spirit if you will, is the only constant ground of being. It is everpresent and always gives a shit.
