psh time signature is all relative to what each individual person hears. My friend has a song that goes from 1/4 and progresses up until it settles on 7/4. It is meant to provide a feeling for the listener and something to follow for the musicians. It is both 5/4 and 4/4 progressing downwards. It's all relative, people! That's why it's called music "theory". You can organize the noise however you want.
