Dang, even the NES had invasive DRM. I had always thought the constant blinking was due to a dirty cart.
-
I like using the switch or button method myself, just for those rare games that are stubborn so you can flip back when ever you need it...
-
Finally I can play micro machines without 30 minutes of fidgeting! Thanks a ton man.

I prefer these old systems, the new disc systems doesnt last too long.

and what if i have a pal nes, if i remove the chip, will it play ntsc than?
devilsshady 1 month ago
@devilsshady Yes if you do this on a PAL NES than you can play most (%80 or so) NTSC NES games on your NES. But since your NES still runs in 50hz some games will be glitchy but like I said most will work fine.

thnx a lot man. just one quick question, how come some people who do this say that pin should be soldered to that silver box at the bottom right of the board (which i'm pretty sure is the RF or AF or whatever) so that it's grounded?

@92soothsayer Hrm not sure never heard anyone say to do that. Yeah I guess that would just ground the pin to a common ground point. I guess it's not nessecary I mean mine's been working fine ever since I cut it.
