  • What CO method were you using here? I mean it looks like a long tail but the way you hold your hand is why I ask. I like how quickly it went for you and although I'm a fast knitter I do a very slow CO

  • I'm sorry! I didn't realize that the CO isn't specified. Yes, I do use the long tail cast on in the video. I usually find that it's the easiest CO to teach people as well as the quickest.

  • Thank you so much. I have been trying to figure this out for some time.

  • Excellent! I like the brief intro becuase some knitting video makers are WAY too long winded. Thanks for a nice clear video and a good explanation of your technique. I wanted to to make legwarmers and not run out of yarn. Very helpful. Thanks!

  • Sweet lady,

Cannot thank you enough for simplifying a daunting 'beginning' for two socks at a time! Your videos are the ONLY ones I understand. You do make it easy to understand because it seems to be second nature for you.

    Blessings,

  • Cool

  • @vitisva she is doing long tail...but she is also a picker , not a thrower...so everything is done with her left hand

  • Thank you! I finally get it after watching your video!!

  • This is exactly what I've been looking for! And your video was so fun - I felt like I was knitting with a friend! :)

  • Thanks for a great video! I took a class to learn this method and just couldn't get the rhythm of knitting with two circa. Your video is great!

  • I tried this method and got a very bad tangle which wasted a lot of time and nerves and the yarn was overstretched between the two needles. I do like knitting 2 socks at once on 2 circs tho but since all socks begin with ribbing on a smaller gauge set of needles, I do the CO and ribbing on DPNs and then I put the work in progress on the 2 circs. The work is advanced enough that there is no more risk of confusion and yarn overstretch.

  • Once I watched this vid-I got it! Thank you so very much. The 1st row & the right side of the gusset (PU stitches) had me baffled because it looked so weird & wrong, but after those hurdles the rest was very easy.
