Episode 10 Forbidden 1/4

Demi's POV

(a/n This episode starts few minutes after the Jonas Family left Demi's house in Dallas from the last episode.)

Settings: Demi's room; Lovato Residence; Dallas, Texas; 9pm

Two significant things to consider -- First, I didn't get the chance to explain what really happened at the house of Blues to Joe earlier. Second, no more time to waste now. I wouldn't be able to stand Joe's reaction once he consider somebody else's explanation. It has to be me--the one to tell him the truth. No matter what. But everything's messed up, now that he had admitted his feelings for me. What about Camilla Belle? Weren't they going out? How vicious of me to ever interfere a relationship? That's not me at all. I should've told him the truth before anything of this. Thus, Im doomed for the rest of my life.

"Why don't you just call him?" My bestfriend demanded me. Her voice colored with confusion, sympathy and a bit of irritation. I could tell it was because I'd been bugging her ceaselessly 24/7 before this 'dinner thing' came. That was very exhausting for her part. And then realization striked, I forgot her presence in my room. All because of my stupid busy brain.

"Im sorry Selena." I dropped my head.

"What are you sorry for, Dem?" Selena giggled and placed my old guitar onto my bed. She was playing it 10 seconds ago. She planned to stay for an overnight, so she got to sleep in my room.

"We're suppose to have a very cool slumber party tonight." I gritted my teeth. "And Im just ruining it. My brain's not working, actually. And I can't stop it from dragging me to the outer space."

She laughed very hard. "From Denial Queen"--doing a quotation marks in the air--"to 'DRAMA' queen."

"You're rude." I pouted.

"I think Im telling the truth."

I sighed heavily, frowning.

"Alright, Im sorry, Demi." She nudged me by her elbow.

"Im the one who said sorry first." I narrowed my eyes.

"Oops." She giggled. "Okay,"--She patted my head--"you're ruining nothing tonight, Dem." She promised.

"You sure?"

"Yes." A half-smile flashed across her cute little face. "So tell me.."

"Yes?"

"Are you really missing him already?" A tiny sign of sadness approached her voice. But she kept her innocent smile.

"Im missing no one, Sel." My voice was plain and sure. I'd managed to compose a big smile on my face.

"Aren't you missing Joe?"

"There's a lot of things in my mind right now."

"Then what's bothering you?"

I sighed. "I didn't get the chance to tell him about everything"--as I hissed--"at all."

Her mouth dropped and her eyes widen. "What?!"

"Im so sorry." I looked up and met her frustrated eyes. "It's just that.." then I trailed off. I didn't know if I have to tell Selena what happened earlier.

"it's just that, what, Demi?" She pleaded.

"It's just that Joe had told me something.." I hesitated. Am I really suppose to tell her? I know she's my bestfriend, but..

"Joe told you what?" She shrugged my shoulders.

"Joe admitted that he loves me.." I dropped my head, almost to the floor. "More than just a bestfriend." I murmured through my teeth. I didn't know if she could understand the last part, but what distracted me was the moderately hot blood rushed all over my face, and the racing thuds of my abnormal heart.

It was then that Selena's squeling and excited voice filled my small old room. "OHMYGOOOOOSH!"

I covered her mouth immediately. "Ssh!"

Her eyes were more excited than her voice. They were fixed on mine, pleading me to tell more.

"You're not going to hear more if you're going to scream like that!" I hissed, my hand still covered her mouth.

"whoopsh, Haymshorih." She murmured through my hand.

I dropped my hand to let her speak. "What did you say?"

"I said, Im sorry." Her voice was still smug, the same goes with her face.

"Oh." I raised both of my eyebrows. "I forgive you. So stop squeling. Someone might hear us."

"Lesson learned!" She beamed.

"Alright." I took a deep breath. "So here's the story.. When you insisted me to get Joe in my room, I walked to him and asked if he wanted a tour guide."

I saw my bestfriend wrinkled her forhead. "huh?"

"Just let me finish ok?!"--she nodded, as I continued--"I asked him if he liked to tour the house with me. Then he agreed."

"Oh I get it."

"Then I lead him upstairs" I continued."and we entered every room we passed, and stopped at the last venue, my room. As you said so."

"Can you hurry?"

"Fine." I muttered. "When we got inside, he went crazy all over my stuffs. But I prohibited him from touching any."

"The usual Demetria Devonne Lovato." Selena murmured rolling her eyes.

I ignored her. "Then he turned serious. He asked me if there's something I wanted to tell him. Im about to say yes, but he interrupted me, saying he had something to tell me too."
