I tell you Stan, and I have said this to Matt already, I think him actually doing what you have done here would be a good thing. It would be great to have a face to engage in debate with.

Insecurity and mild paranoia.

Ironically Hitler seemed to really believe he was doing the right thing - if his crazy conspiracies were right he'd be a hero. There are a lot of folk who sincerely believe shit like that online and on street corners, no reason to believe they would be 'heroes' too if they had the means. The people wanted someone like him at the time, unlikely to happen again (with welfare state buffering depressions) but things can change. Spree killers would likely be just as bad if they could.

Your channel is yours, do with it as you want :D though i like your essays.
All it takes is someone afraid of their own shaddow getting absolute power. Look at your 'over reaction' video, there's enough of them in Congress today. The thing is, Hitler isn't solely responsible for his rise to power let alone the actions of his regime. Someone like him plucked from that environment would at worst be a guy with bad ideas and little chance of actualizing them. Even if these senators ARE as bad as Hitler, does it matter, since they're never going to be as powerful?

@unassumption the thing is, Hitler wasn't ;just' "bad"; he was a monomaniacal conquerer. There's a big difference between being wrong, being bad, and being ghastly.

IMO there wasn't even "a Hitler" in Nazi Germany, not the personification of evil the term brings to mind, and there sure as hell isn't one in Wisconsin. A lot of people could do as Hitler did if given the right circumstances, but those don't exist right now. We have no clue if someone who doesn't have power would be evil with THAT much.
People can just listen to you even if your a real person, I was reading while i listened to this for example so don't be worried about having to use the face.

@unassumption
The only people that I can liken Hitler to, when I really think about it; are people like Genghis Khan, Napoleon, or Attila the Hun; certainly not any politician in a western democracy.

@Killermike2178 It depends. I might make a video about that one of these days.
