  • Good onya mate. Giving the little joey a second chance.

You are a really special person.

  • @Rodwin1980 Thanks chief.Earlier in the week I went for a drive early eve and discovered a Possum who had been hit a matter of hours before.Checked the pouch and sure enough a 3 month old female Joey survived the impact luckily.I posted a vid of the poor little bugger who was reluctant to let go of mum. We’ve had her nearly a week and she is doing fine.Drinks around 60ml of special milk designed for marsupials from a bottle 3-4 times a day. They are amazing animals and get a poor rap not justifed

  • @gunhound45 Thanks for your interest. I hope it did. Its sad to see that Tasmania shoots over a million Wallabies a year to protect their precious tree plantations. If thats not enough, they are now logging the last of the Old Growth Forests so the poor old Kangaroo will be the next thing to be extinct. The Tasmanian Devil will be wiped out by the year 2015 because Tasmanians continue to poison every living thing with 1080 a banned substance. I'm affraid the humble Kangaroo will be gone soon

  • You have a good heart man. God bless you.

  • @animallover2047 Thanks. Just yesterday I picked up a little Poteroo that was standing crouched over in agony by the side of the road after being hit by a car the night before. 100 or more people must have driven past the poor little bugger standing there obviously paralised by her injuries yet no one bothered to stop and assist. (they are nocturnal, no one noticed) I picked her up which was not easy as I was on my motorbike and took her to the nearest wildlife sanctury. They took care of her.

  • nice to see that some people out there actually give a shit...well done.

  • Yeah unfortunately there are more vids on Youtube of people hunting and murdering the humble Kangaroo, Emu and Dingo, real Australian Icons just for the pleasure in most cases. I have saved about 6 Kangas and 3 Emus from a premature death so far and if everyone just did a little bit towards the conservation of wildlife we would be a better country for it. 80 Dingo's were shot on Fraser Island recently but the Government didn't even know the numbers before the cull so basically wildlife is doomed
