i really love Jeff, i think he is a modern poet, but i cant agree with him saying all those ska bands suck. I'm seeing Big D this next week. NoFx does suck though. i know. dont say it. they are punk.

@AFMisfitsDK I honestly don't see what you're talking about. Just about every song of theirs has a message, and it's illustrated pretty clearly. Of course some ambiguity comes into play, but can't the same be said about hundreds of other great songs? Perhaps some reading between the lines is necessary, but maybe some styles of songwriting don't hit others all the same.

@Sean151991 I used to be a huge Streetlight fan, and I still think that they are phenomenal musicians, but have you ever looked at a Streetlight song in your life?? The lyrics are pretty nonsensical. There saneems to be a very loose theme that ties it all together, but lacks any central idea. Tomas frequently uses catchy choruses and other distractions that seem to fit but really don't go with the song. It sounds great but its pretty empty.
