This is a very quick look at the dashboard of the new 2011 Ford Edge with "My Ford Touch". These just arrived at the dealership today (8/24/10) and I got to test drive one before I place my order. Most of the features are disabled because it just came off the transport truck so I can't give you the complete run-through, but a detailed demo will come when I get the vehicle later this year.

  • if they give you paddle shifters then they need to give you an rpm that's BIG enough (-_-)

  • @AllanXRLTS3 They don't really give you paddle shifters, just a rocker on the shifter knob.

  • I can totally understand why u didnt get the puch button package. I went to the site and its like a few extra hundred bucks just for that and something else. Ill probably get the 30k ford edge which has just enough of the tech stuff i need. Having this car would make driving in traffic much easier then what i got now.

  • @year2kill2010 Actually, I bought a 2011 Lincoln MKX and it does include the push button start, I really love it, one of my favorite features.

  • a question, this car uses a lot of gas?

  • @luliuya The 3.5l V6 gets 18/25mpg. The 2.5L EcoBoost I4 will do much better.

  • @DetroitBORG Nice! id be using some of the touch screen functions during traffic if they are able to be used. I hate traffic lol.

  • wowww thats just like the Lexus LFA

  • @ZacharyDuhamel I've been searching for an answer to this and I honestly can't figure it out. I believe the Edge has standard automatic climate control so you should be able to.
