STS-127: Commander Mark Polansky Entering Space Shuttle Endeavour

STS-127 Commander Mark Polansky, known as "Roman," has put on the last portion of his pressure suit which includes the parachute and crawled through Endeavour's hatch. He will sit in the left-hand seat in the front of the flight deck. There are four seats on the flight deck and three on the lower level called the middeck. As to the weather, a shower has developed that is expected near the launch pad in about 30 minutes. The countdown remains on schedule for launch at 6:51 p.m
