In this video, I play (on my electronic piano keyboard) my arrangement of "Yoshi on the Beach", which was composed by Yoshihiro Arita & Kazumi Totaka during the Mario and Zelda Big Band Live concert. I did this song in two parts - first I recorded the background music, which was the 12 string guitar. After that was done, I played the melody, switching around from violin to pizz strings, to cello, and to contrabs. (Note - I do not know the full names of those, as my keyboard abbreviates.) I stay on violin mostly. The reason I recorded it this way is because it will allow the song to sound more like the concert version. I am able to do it with both hands at the same time, with the left hand doing a bluegrass-like thing and the right hand doing the melody, but it wouldn't sound as good. Plus, I wouldn't be able to change instruments fast enough without losing the tempo. And that brings up another thing - I do lose the tempo at one point in the song, but it's hardly noticeable. Also, I know my posture is terrible. Please don't comment on it. Enjoy the song! Please rate!
