Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto has created a beautiful, undeniably scary time-lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions which have taken place between 1945 and 1998, beginning with the Manhattan Project's "Trinity" test near Los Alamos and concluding with Pakistan's nuclear tests in May of 1998. This leaves out North Korea's two alleged nuclear tests in this past decade (the legitimacy of both of which is not 100% clear).

Each nation gets a blip and a flashing dot on the map whenever they detonate a nuclear weapon, with a running tally kept on the top and bottom bars of the screen. Hashimoto, who began the project in 2003, says that he created it with the goal of showing"the fear and folly of nuclear weapons." It starts really slow — if you want to see real action, skip ahead to 1962 or so — but the buildup becomes overwhelming.

About "1945-1998" ©2003
"This piece of work is a bird's eye view of the history by scaling down a month length of time into one second. No letter is used for equal messaging to all viewers without language barrier. The blinking light, sound and the numbers on the world map show when, where and how many experiments each country have conducted. I created this work for the means of an interface to the people who are yet to know of the extremely grave, but present problem of the world."

Throwing insults around like that is a sign of major insecurity. Look up the Dunning-Kreuger effect. You are so incompetent that you can't even see it. Worse however is that you think others are as incompetent as you actually are. Ask yourself, are you able to see talent in others in your area of work? I bet my life that you can not. The bottom line is that you literally have no idea about even the most elementary aspects of life. I would be surprised if you could even wipe your own ass.

Refining the weapons, American nuclear devices are smaller, cleaner, more accurate and lower yield than their Russian counterparts.

The aim of American nuclear weapon testing was to perfect the devices so as to minimize fallout as much as possible and eliminate collateral damage, and to develop a nuclear pulse drive for spacecraft.

I don't really care what the point was. As if that wasn't painfully obvious enough. You didn't get it, did you? I am just interested in belittling sad little "men" like you. Inconsistency? You have said that twice now but have not pointed to any example. This is because you are talking based on emotion and not thought and there is no example. Then you call me stupid. hahahaha oh you are just gold.

I think you are technically both right. It makes sense for rising cancer because of radiation AND because of rising population.

The point was cancer due to radiation of over 2500 tests over the last 60 years. Do you have anything to say about that? It's not my fault when you butt in like a moron. It's not my fault that you can't stay consistent within four lines. You critized me for throwing insults, then you started insulting me without regards to the actual point discussed. Then to top up your stupidity, you said" I bet my life". Have you looked at the definition of the DK expriment? You are the best example of it.

    You didn't answer my questions.

Does radiation cause cancer? There were over 2500 of them. It doesn't take a genius to figure this one out.

How I came up with my conclusion is reading MANY websites that research and revolve around cancer and all you can do is post a bias article from The Huffington Post, they're as bias as fox news for gods sake. And you don't need to attack me, a good argument can stand on it's own feet. You sound terribly insecure.
