It's like a cross between HBO's Deadwood Theme and a 1970's Prog Rock band. I love this so much.

@xdazednconfusdx there is a book of a bunch of Ponty's songs- it has the full run (between solos) with harmony
-
Has a country music sound

The correct spelling is "Renaissance".
-
that s another kind high of music

This is such an incredible piece. Love Clarkes groove...

@MultiAlien3 Don't know, but it's from Ponty's album Aurora. Di Meola and Clarke didn't play on the original. I know that it was Daryl Stuermer on guitar, but can't remember who played bass. Stuermer had a significant solo, but I don't remember the bass being prominent in the original.

Guys someone had a Live version of this song called "JEAN LUC PONTY LIVE" but it's been removed...does someone have it? (and can this "someone" reupload it?) Thank you ^^
I'm trying to transcribe al di meola's part and its easy in most places and then incredibly hard on those little "runs" he and ponty have.!

Yeah, Meola has a reputation for those "little runs".. I can send you the original MP3 file if you would like; quality isn't great on Youtube.
As for the way of transcribing said runs; google "Transcribe!" .. *cough Torrent*
Which helps by slowing the BPM of the song and giving you time to hear the notes.
All the best with transcribing!
