I saw this movie the weekend it was released in '84! I had my younger sister with me and I scared the daylights out of her every chance I got during the movie! I grew up with this entire saga during my high school and college years even as ridiculous as each installment got! Hey, that was part of the movie subculture of the 80's for ya. It sure was fun stuff for its time! I miss it dearly!
