I met Lee Garrett in Philly last year.
He spoke fondly of his visit to the TOTP in the UK, and said he particularly liked the British girls...
He's a great character.

One of my all time fave records. Sadly, although Lee Garrett's vocals are great, the performance as usual is spoiled by the omnipresent TOTP orchestra who time and time again proved they couldn't 'do' any form of 70s black music whether it be Motown, Philly Soul or Disco.
Read the notes and play them correctly - Yes
Play them with any 'feeling' - No

@abuckley1966 You serious? I love this song! And it sounds like he is singing realtime, unlike the newer TOTP broadcasts.
