  • why would you touch a coin from the 1800's??

  • @gtfan7676 They have been touched by thousands of people before me. What are MY fingers going to do to the coin that the last 200 years worth of touching hasnt done? Think before you speak.

  • Nice! I started collecting last year. I have a 3 cent piece too! Same year as yours, except mine is in only G condition. Currently my oldest coin is an 1832 half dime in VF condition. Very nice video.

  • Thanks. Really nice collections are not built quickly. Take your time to buy nicer coins, you will be thankful for that later down the road.

  • Awsome collection, very nice. I love coins.

  • Thanks. Its a fun and educational hobby, and can be very rewarding as well. Im glad you like my videos.

  • @geckster109 you should still only handle coins like that wearing cotton gloves, just a good habit and very basic to numistamists

  • @xphobe I traded my entire collection (including the 1797 half) for silver when silver was around $10/oz. Since then I've started a new collection - but only graded coins.

  • the 1st coin u showed i never saw and got me hooked into watching and learning about all these awesome coins!

  • Nice! Type coins are my passion. I have all but the 1796 half. My pre-1800 stuff is in pretty gnarly shape with corrosion, scratches and/or holes, but I can't afford anything nicer. For me it's all about the designs and the history. I love holding a coin that could have been handled by our country's founders. If coins could talk, the stories they'd tell!

  • how much dos the 20 peace cost

  • @geckster109 ok whatever do what you want i was just asking a question there was no reason for you to get all mad. if that was my coin i would not want the oils from my hand on it. because i no its bad for the coin.

  • how much do these old pennies cost?
