Don Ignacio Duri Palomeque ( Ayahuasca ) Part 1

Don Ignacio Duri Palomeque is a widely respected maestro ayahuasquero from Infierno, in the Madre de Dios department of the Peruvian rainforest. As a very young rubber tapper, he was first introduced to the master plant by a local ayahuasquero; during this first communion with the medicine, the Spirit of Cielo Ayahuasca revealed that She would apprentice him, and he never again sought a human teacher. Don Ignacio posseses an encyclopedic knowledge of the botanical pharmacopoeia of the selva. He is one of the last of the "plant dreamers," receiving revelations from plant spirits on their nature, location and medicinal usage, resulting in his discovery of several species previously unknown to science. His icaros, or medicine songs the plants have taught him, are ineffable. Don Ignacio continues to mentor patients and spiritual aspirants from around the world, including many from the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition. THOTH is honored to host our dear friend and grandfather.
