My Top 100 Favorite VG Tunes # 40

Megaman X was one of my favorite Super Nintendo games. The blue bombers first leap to 16-bit changed my life forever and to this day I await it's coming to the virtual console.

Spark Mandrill's stage had my favorite music from the whole game. Hard rocking and blood pumping it takes the place of number 40 in my list.

Neon Tiger influenced me greatly as a child. It was the only tune that really stuck with me. I know you might think it's not good.. but it grew on me.

MEGAMAN MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN GREAT. The Boomer Kwanger song is also very good.

Great song, but Storm Eagle, Launch Octopus, AND Armored Armadillo are better, IMO.

@WardogBLacky definitely, i never picked up the mega man x collection for gamecube or ps2 and i understand it has the saturn/psx version of X3 which looks a bit nicer but the music is horrendous, sad since toxic seahorse, volt catfish, and blast hornet all have kickass themes. But Nintendo has essentially abandoned the VC....maybe if capcom does a 16bit revival of X like they have done an 8bit revival of megaman they will put at least the first x on vc.

My fav mega man theme is the level with the first boss fight with dr. wily in it on mega man 2!
