They are very predatory in their practice of repair. They ALWAYS approach the customer. You should get business by people wanting to use you because they know you are good. Not by cornering people and badgering them to file a claim, which is what they do.
-
Bullshit. Thats like saying when you scratch your bumper you need an entire new bumper. Of course the auto shop WANTS to give you a whole new bumper. 80% of these claims the people are preyed upon and usually have only a tiny chip that can easily be repaired.

Not really, only the insurance pays for it. The people in the video were either misinformed or outright lied when they explained how premiums go up. Truth is, the premiums are not affected at all. How do the tax payer's pay anything?
The reason why these companies have a bad rep is because the insurance companies give them a bad image. Insurance companies just want to save as much money as possible, and they hate the idea of people knowing they can replace their windshield at no cost to them.

There is a lot of dishonestly and misinformation in this video. I use to work for this company a while back, and even though I don't work for them, I think I should speak out and defend the business. First off, everything they do is legal. The sales people work for a different company that is local, and the local company makes business for the shop. C2C/ DNS are legit companies, and they create more jobs for people through the local marketing company. Now how is this illegal.
-
you posted on a different page that work for DNS.

Did you even watch the video you fucking idiot? In these states where the deductible is waved for glass replacement people get their windshields replaced because some random guy points out the smallest pit in their windshield. Take a wild guess as to who ends up paying for it? The tax payers and other honest insured as well as yourself. You are a complete mark you dumb motherfucker.
-
Thanks. Saved me from going there tomorrow.

love this tag.. "illegal" .. totally legal actually
"News report on DNS Auto Glass Shop (Also DBA D&S Auto Glass Shop or Coast to Coast Auto Glass) and their illegal activites."

this is not a scam at all. in fact this report is so slanted its ridiculous. i had these guys knock on my door. i had a big chip that i KNEW about. they were very professional and took care of it 2 days later with new glass.
3 days later i got a NEW chip in the glass and the guy came out THAT day and repaired. NO CHARGE, NO CLAIMS

Oh, my bad. The phone # that is imbedded into the YouTube DNS video (rather than the one I mentioned that is posted in the video description) IS actually answered - as only "Auto Glass". I finally got the guy to say he was really DNS. LMAO
