I think, that you have the video out connected wrong. Because your cinch cable is connected to audio in(red and white) on your TV, but there should be connected only one cable (video out(yellow) on your dock -> video in(also yellow) on your TV) so try to connect the one yellow end of your triple video cable to your dock, and the other yellow end to your tv yellow connector. Or simply try using the s-video cable.

nah, i can't be bothered i don't use video out on the ipod anymore anyway, i was just connecting it up to demonstrate the video out feature, and you do know that apple has blocked ipod classics from displaying video out right?

Well, if you think so... :) I just tried to help, so dont be offended... And no, Apple hasn't blocked ipod classics from displaying video out, it only doesn't support video out accessory for older generations.

I am tired of docking my ipodtouch to my ipod dock as it is struggling to sit and connect properly. Can you let me know where can i find a cable that can be a connector between the ipodtouch and the ipod dock. Cheers.

that looks like a nice dock especially with the colour choice, i'm so sick of white docks.

Although it sucks that they don't design a dock like this which is wider to support ipod with hard cases.
