http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1LCXjONnJA NephilimFree's video about women keeping silent in church. ~1 Corinthians 4:34. Neph blocked me for some reason, so please send him this video if you can.
You talk about the LITERAL word of God. You speak of the actual literal translation of every single word in the Bible as being 100% true and not metaphors or allegories or references to specific concepts or cultures in history. Therefore, under the literal contextual meaning of the particular scripture in question, this means that women are not allowed to praise God in church with the singing of hymns, greet people in church with love and fellowship, like Jesus commanded in the Bible in order to be the bride of Christ, they cannot be Sunday school teachers or even cooks and helpers for church gatherings. You speak of the literal word of God, that woman cannot literally speak at all in a church until she gets home, therefore, according to your perception, woman should not be able to talk at all once they enter the arena of the physical church. If this literal translation is correct, then how are women supposed to have a ministry and witness to other people and do good work in the church? Next Sunday, when your wife says as much as one word in church, you better tell her to be quiet, because that is what the literal word of God says, right?
The fact is, this scripture has a historical meaning in context. In the original Greek translation, it says that women should not speak out of turn. Corinthian women at the time were not very educated at all, let alone about theology, therefore they would be tempted to ask questions during service. However, Paul wanted them to wait until they got home to ask questions as to not interrupt the sermon.

  • @NephilimFree You neglected to watch the part where I talk about the original greek translation, which is not at all what the English translation says when they made the King James version. Tell me Neph, have you studied the BIble in greek? Surely you know that the only way to truly understand the Bible is understand it's original translation and also note that there are certain things in the Bible that pertain to the specific moment in time. You also didn't respond to the Leviticus laws.

And by the way, you are a rotten Christian and a rotten person. You are selfish, predatory, misogynistic, dishonest, arrogant and petty. You selectively interpret your book of fairy tales to satiate your own pathetic prepubescent insecurities, while ignoring the broader message of tolerance and love. Then you have the unmitigated gall to morally judge those who do not adopt your demented belief system - those whose selflessness and goodness dwarfs yours by orders of magnitude.

  • There's no "literal" church building in the Bible. Where did you read about "sermons" in the Bible?

I wonder if women should just go to their own churches. They could make as much noise as they wanted, teach, and so on. Wouldn't that solve everything?

  • Hell has no fury like a woman scorned ... hehe just kidding

    On a serious note

    Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The only thing that stopped me from hitting the like button was quoting the corporate whores (AKA the Spice girls)

But don't worry you disgusting misogynistic pig. See, I was the one who first brought it to the Anniepies attention and was sure to capture a screencap. When I get some free time in the next couple weeks I will be sure to make a video airing your disgusting dirty laundry.

And fruitikay, since I can't pm him, I thought I would use this video to communicate with him -- the irony relative to his position regarding women in the church is precious. :-)

    Hi Nephy,

Do you remember commenting on this video about the dom/sub culture v=I4xXOLqJkiQ&lc

Let me refresh your memory: you offered your knowledge as a dom in advising the young girl. Oh, wait a minute, of course you remember; after the Anniepies brought it to your attention, you deleted it. Why does it not surprise me that a man who advocates 6000 year old bronze-age gender roles fancies himself a sexual dom? And furthermore comments on the videos of girls half is age?

  • you go girl
