From the 1960's, an unusual combination of "20th Century Fox Television" and "ABC Television Network", probably from 1966. Unusual, because this copy is in black and white, but comes from a show produced and aired in color ("Batman"). This is, however, fully real and NOT a spoof.

  • @jpongsin2002 No. My copy is from a B&W copy of a colour broadcast. I do NOT have a colour copy. Maybe a colour copy exists in the hands of collectors, but I don't have it.

  • In airings of Batman on the hub,its plasterd w/the 1993 20th television logo.

  • @ostra00chip: The entire run of Batman WAS in color...what's seen in this video is from a black-and-white "stand-by" print ABC sent to local stations that still weren't broadcasting in color yet (as of 1966).

Some ABC stations in smaller markets still broadcast in black and white as late as 1974.

  • that the real 8mm kiroscope copy of abc's batman.they used in tv stations back then.with abc at the beginning and the end.included commercials in 1966.a syndicated copy would be in color and abc and original commercials would be edited out,and new 20th century logo will replace the old one.

  • how old is this must like over 30 years old does anybody know?

  • I found the name William Self in the end credits. He sadly passed away at age 89. R I P

  • seems real....judging by the heavy grainieness and the tape hiss in background

  • This is a BW print for TV stations that didn't have color yet in 1966
