I'm looking to adopt a kitty, first time with one and I'm really leaning toward a ragdoll but holy crap the prices for a cat are insane, and it's hard finding any kittens in animal shelters. I have a pedigree shih tzu show dog and every cat breed I look up are more expensive than her! So it is a turn off to get a cat.

My ragdoll likes to beat up other cats, yet she's scared of the dark

I have actually had two ragdoll, one of which I couldn't keep for very long & the second was for my 10th birthday, greatest present I have ever received. so gentle & loving, she followed me everywhere! she passed away not too long ago from a urinary tract infection, major cause of death for most ragdolls. but you can bet if I ever get another cat it would definitely be a ragdoll

My ragdoll is black with green eyes. She goes limp, never meows or hurts, loves being held but HATES other animals. She likes being inside and outside abd loves to kill and eat rabits, baby rabits, mice, adult and baby squirls, birds, etc. But she follows me and only me and only lets me touch her belly. I raised her from a kitten
this is a real cat!! :D
