Review of Lexerd TrueVue Anti-Glare Screen Protector applied on a Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT. The Z110 on my Subaru WRX gets a good amount of glare or washout effect when hit with direct sunlight. This is usually in the morning or late afternoon when the sun is closer to the horizon.

I was pretty disappointed with the results and do not recommend this product unless you only want to get it for protecting your screen. Granted, they claim more protective features than anti-glare features, but it's called "Anti-Glare" and it doesn't help in that department at all.

The best remedy for the glare problem is having the head-unit recessed in your dash. Most cars that come with navi's stock already have this -- or the dash has visors surrounding the screen -- so this isn't really a realistic remedy for those with aftermarket units for cars that aren't designed to have a in-dash navi, like the WRX.

Save your money.

  • Nothing to do with the anti glare. but did you use any dask kit on that radio install? I am ording the the z130bt for my 2011 wrx, needed to know if i needed one or not. I looks like it should fill stock hole.

  • @TurboTweet Yes, I think it's a Scosche kit.

  • Thanks a lot for this Review. I was about to buy one from Amazon to have it shipped to Brazil. Now, I will NOT buy it anymore. Have you found any other "Anti Glare" Screen Protector that actually works? Thanks!

  • @agoice No, do not buy any sort of anti-glare product for this device. It's not needed and it's a waste of money.

  • Thank you! I found your video to be extremely helpful :-D

  • Nice review. The result confirms my own experience regarding any of these products. For testing of this stuff, I have a smal tip. If you install the protector film on just one half of the monitor, you can compare the two halves directly under identical conditions. This might ruin your brand new protector film of course, but don't worry. You will most probably end up binning it anyway. :)

  • @ConsumerFanatics AllRite. Thanks for the Answer.

  • DO NOT BUY. THIS COMPANY LEXERD IS HORRIBLE WORST CUSTOMER SERVIVE IVE ENCOUNTERED..... AND POOR QUALITY!

  • @mixuletz Try Amazon.
