"Every eight seconds a child dies of a water-borne disease, in every case preventable if their parents had access to clean water and if adequate sanitation was available."
-- Maude Barlow, Senior Advisor on Water to the 63rd President of the UN General Assembly

Clean water is indeed a human right!
Consider the following reasoning by syllogism:
1. Clean water=Life
2. Life is an unalienable, human right.
3. Therefore, Clean water is an unalienable, human right.
The 1st premise is true--clean, safe drinking water does equal life. If you do not have clean water, life is unsustainable. The 2nd premise is true--Life is an unalienable right, as stated in our constitution. Therefore, the conclusion follows: clean water is a right to every human.
